MoorPLANTS
a field guide to the plants of the Peak District National Park
for the Peak District National Park

MoorPLANTS is part of a series of 4 apps produced for the Moors for the Future project.
The four apps have been developed to help visitors to the moors learn more about the plants, wildlife and landscape features they may come across. Designed with the Peak District and South Pennines in mind, they will, however, be useful on moorlands across the UK.
A field guide in your pocket
The app is a field guide and provides information on 45 of the iconic species found on the moors to help you put a name to many of the characteristic, interesting plants found in the area.

Detailed information when you need it
Each plant has its own page featuring text descriptions and a photo gallery to help you with ID in the field.
The app also provides information about the work being done by the Moors for the Future Partnership on the MoorLIFE project and how this is helping to restore and preserve moorland habitats of European importance
